About Nora

I am a Los Angeles-based producer, film programmer, and curator with extensive experience in artist development and education for organizations across the United States, including Sundance, Tribeca Festival, Telluride Film Festival, the American Film Institute, and Urbanworld. I am a Film Independent Fellow, currently in pre-production for the short film, “Training Wheels,” where I serve as Executive Producer through the Project Involve program. You can learn more about the film and donate here.

Through my work, I’ve supported filmmakers around the world, with particular focus on the Global South. Many of whom have gone on to premiering films at international festivals such as Berlinale, Cannes, Karlovy Vary, and Locarno. I bring a well-rounded approach to supporting emerging and mid-career creatives in today’s independent film scene, thanks to my knowledge of the North American Film Festival landscape. I am an advocate for filmmakers exploring new and innovative ways to distribute their work.

Born and raised in New York City, I’m a hiker, R&B enthusiast, foodie, and Left Coast Knicks fan. You can often find me at Griffith Park, South LA, Zuma Beach, or Merkato in Little Ethiopia.
